About Us

The Myers Family Foundation was established to honor the legacy of Michael R. Myers—an Iowa entrepreneur who believed deeply in building strong communities and giving back. After being diagnosed with ALS, Mike dedicated himself to helping others facing the disease, a mission that continues to inspire this work today.

Through the annual MRM Golf Classic and Legacy Social, the Foundation brings people together to raise critical funds for ALS research, care, and support services. These events have raised over $1 million to benefit the ALS Association and continue to provide hope for individuals and families impacted by ALS.

The Myers Family Foundation is committed to making a meaningful difference—supporting medical research, assisting those in need, and carrying forward Mike’s vision of a world without ALS
